Scholarship Programs:

Alliance for Choice in Education Scholarship

The Alliance for Choice in Education (ACE) launched a private scholarship program to award scholarships annually to low-income students to attend a school of their choice, providing financial assistance and increased access to high quality educational options. ACE provides up to 50% of private school tuition; a maximum of $2,000 per year per student for grades K-8 and $3,000 for grades 9-12 in the form of a four year funding commitment.

Charter and Magnet Schools:

Colorado Charter Schools

Charter schools are publicly funded schools that are exempt from certain state mandates, but held accountable to other bodies. They are tuition-free, like traditional public schools, but often offer special programs (such as an intensive language-learning program) that public schools do not.

Colorado Magnet Schools

Magnet schools are public schools that offer a specialized curriculum, whether it be in science, the performing arts, or engineering, amongst other subjects. Unlike charter schools, which are independent from local school boards, magnet schools are held accountable to their local school districts.
