ANTHONY J. COLÓN Interim President
 Anthony J. Colón is one of the most widely recognized leaders in the school choice and education reform movements. His extensive experience designing cutting-edge education programs that target special needs and underserved students has put him at the front line of local and national education debates over the past 30 years. Colón served as Vice President of the Center for Community Educational Excellence at the National Council of La Raza, and grew a fledgling department into a national leader in community-based education reform, positioning NCLR as the #1 expert on Hispanic-serving pre-K through 12 education programs. Mr. Colón holds master’s degrees in educational administration and educational supervision from Fordham University and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York. He is a New York native and currently lives in Columbia, Maryland with his wife, Kimberly, and twin daughters, Gabriella and Caitlin.
Jorge Naranjo Vice President of Operations
Jorge Adrian is currently the Vice President of Operations & Strategy of Hispanic CREO. He was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. In 1991, he joined the Colombian Army and on July of 1994, he moved with his family to Miami, Florida where he studied Business Administration and Management at Miami-Dade College. After three years of school life and student activism in Miami, FL. Jorge Adrian moved to the DC metropolitan area to complete his studies in Business Management, with an emphasis on Marketing at the University of Maryland. Later, in 2007 he graduated with a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Maryland specializing in Business Planning & Strategy Development. While his studies at Maryland, he visited Belgium and Slovenia where he learned about doing business in the European Union, and took an International Business seminar at the University of Antwerp in Belgium. Jorge Adrian has occupied various leadership positions in both private and non-profit organizations such as the National Council of La Raza, Walton Thomas International, the Organization of American States, Bio Technologies, Washington, Inc, and The World Bank to name a few. He currently sits on Hillcrest School health-based Advisory Committee, a health initiative from the Maryland Health Department and Frederick County Public Schools. Before becoming the Vice President at Hispanic CREO, he worked as Manager of Operations & Marketing for the National Council of La Raza, the largest Latino advocacy organization in the nation, for seven years. Jorge leaves with his wife Adriana and two sons Sebastian and Felipe in Frederick, MD.
